For over 33 years
David worked in the healthcare industry starting as an
RN in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit of Texas
Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. After completing
dual Masters degrees, he moved into hospital
administration of non- profit and for- profit hospitals,
completing his health care career as Senior Vice
President of a hospital in Oklahoma.
Seeking a life change and to compliment life goals,
David bought Heart of the Hills to fulfill a dream. Back
in the 1980's when David worked in Little Rock, he
frequented Eureka Springs and dreamed of moving here one
day and owning a B&B.
Well dreams do come true.
Shirlee: an LPN by vocation, and David's
mother, moved to Eureka Springs to assist David in the B&B upon her retirement.
Shirlee is an accomplished artist and many of her paintings hang in the rooms
and are for sale. Shirlee just turned 82 this summer and is walking these
mountain trails frequently. Living in Eureka Springs sure can help you stay
healthy and mentally alert.

Ally: inn keeper assistants...
